Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Location: Tequesta, FL

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay: $22-$25/hour

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and handling returned medical instruments. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow regulated processes, and a proactive approach to maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process outbound shipments including picking, packing, and verifying documentation
  • Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials and returned items
  • Label finished goods and manage labeling revisions and destruction of outdated labels
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including lot numbers and product tracking
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Transfer inventory between locations within the system
  • Support cycle counts and reconciliation of consigned inventory
  • Maintain warehouse organization in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Assist with inventory level monitoring and report shortages to internal teams
  • Track and resolve shipping issues, including missing or delayed shipments
  • Process returned surgical instruments and implant trays, including cleaning and sterilization
  • Coordinate with Quality to evaluate returned instruments and determine disposition
  • Perform minor repairs and light mechanical assembly using hand tools
  • Update system logs and tracking tools (Service Log, Tray Tracker, inspection logs, scorecards)
  • Generate and review inventory and location reports
  • Assist with SOP and work instruction development for warehouse processes

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required with 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • OR
  • Associate degree in Business or related field with 1+ year of relevant experience
  • Experience in medical device or regulated environments preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems
  • Comfortable handling medical instruments and performing light assembly work
